On the 19th of November a split occured in which our hub server, and chanfix went offline. The hub server had been suspended by the host and there was no backup hub.
When the server came back up, it had a new SSL fingerprint due to new ssl certificates needing to be generated for the IRCd. Unfortunately this requires updating by each leaf owner, but it's all in the name of security yea?
We're now getting a backup hub, so there will be somewhere for servers to link in an event such as this one, and leaf owners + hub owners will be in better communication with eachother in the future about updates to certificate fingerprints. We are also still awaiting the return of the irc.af link, however the owner has been slightly out of contact.
